Dairyuji is featured in Lonely Planet’s Love Japan

Dairyuji is featured in the new coffee table style travel book Love Japan by Lonely Planet.

Author Manami Okazaki interviewed Keno and Gretchen about Zen and the value of meditation. Keno discusses the various aspects and benefits of Zazen, which is the traditional style of meditation unique to Japanese Zen, encouraged by the founder Dogen. Gretchen shares her experience and insights into mindfulness meditation and the ability to bring mindfulness to daily life.

Love Japan is a beautiful book that covers various aspects of Japanese culture. It would serve as a great omiyage (souvenir) after a trip or as a gift to anyone who loves Japan!

Please note that due to an editing error, in one caption, it is written that Dairyuji is located in Gifu prefecture. It is not! Dairyuji is located in Akita prefecture.
