Places to eat in Oga

There are many delicious places to eat during your visit in Oga!

Here are some of our local favorite spots within walking distance of Dairyuji.

At the bottom of the hill around the corner from Dairyuji, you can find the family run Fukushima Deli. Their famous croquets taste best piping hot and there is a great selection of salads, chicken kara-age and steak kebabs.

Another nearby favorite is Tomosu Cafe which has a stylish lunch menu as well as coffees, drinks and homemade deserts.

Not exactly a meal, but if you are a fan of Sake you can’t miss the innovative craft sake brewery Ine to Agave.

If ramen is your thing, check out Ogaya which usually draws a line around the corner.

Locals gather at the izakaya Hide for both lunch and dinner. You can enjoy fresh fish, a wide variety of dishes and affordable sake.

If you want something quick or have children tagging along, you will be delighted to discover Have a Go Hot Dog . A nice, clean spot with lots of space to run around outside.

For a truly authentic vibe, check out Suiren for a traditional Japanese shokudou meal.

Michi no eki (road side station) Ogare offers a seafood pasta restaurant, local flavored gelato and a wide selection of foods from Oga! It is a must stop!
